I read your blog with great interest. I am planning to go to Ethiopia in June (after a week on Socotra, and then a week or so on (mainland) Yemen), and then on to Eritrea and Djibouti.

It sounds as if Soratours is worthwhile - judging by the pictures there were not many of you on the trip, 4 or so (plus driver)? Could I be rude and ask how much it was (per head) and for how long? Your photos are really good! Were you able to keep your battery/ies charged along the way, or did you take a few spare?

What would be of interest to you is a site I found recently:

http://mosttraveledpeople.com/_MTPRegister1.cfm

It divides the world not just into countries, of which there are fewer than 200, but as you have done - included Ecuador and Galapagos Is. - it includes geographical, and political entities which otherwise would not be counted as more than one.

I shall start working my way through your previous travel entries!

With kind regards,
Noel
